New Tunnel opened in Cairo street

The General Authority for Roads and Land Transport announced the opening of one of the new tunnels in the Cairo Street project, which is located under the Second Ring Road between the areas of Daiya, Al-Dasma, Al-Mansouriya, and Al-Qadisiyah.

The tunnel consists of 3 lanes towards Kuwait City. The opposite direction of the same tunnel will be opened soon, authorities informed.

The Cairo Street project includes developing 7 kilometers of roads, which include 3 tunnels and 5 bridges at ground level, in addition to a flyover bridge, 23 bus stops and 7 pedestrian bridges.
