I totally agree with this. yesterday one guy was standing outside with a coupon book.. knocked the door 2 times and then rang the bell..when we were struggling to make our small baby sleep. I saw him from door knob but didn't open the door.. hope I didn't do wrong.

i think associations should collect money from their members only and not go around with a begging bowl , it gives bad impression to other communities . Yes we all need to contribute for the under privileged as individually we cannot do much but as an association a lot can be done.

There are 100s of associations for Indians. All of them are said to be originally for charity purpose but in fact to show the personal clout of few people. They insist even members to pay heavy contributions and organise concerts of leading artists from India and pay them hefty fees. Some bring political leaders..... These are good for the top few of the organizations. None of the associations have any reach to Kuwait authorities. for example the sewage water issue in Abbasia. Did any association came forward to raise to Govt. authorities?, Attack on people by unknown locals. etc. Few organizations are there with the noble motive of charity, but they dont organize grad parties for its members. Door to door collection must not be encouraged. These collections must be going to pocket of those people ..

I live in Salmiya and I have faced this menace many times from associations and vendors.
I have put a notice on the door bell (in English, Arabic and Malyalam language) not to ring bell in case you want this from me else shall be insulted. Till date no one has dared to ring bell.

I know many of people who became rich and famous due to organizing programs on the money of others. Many of companies Indian owners/partners are sponsoring these programs and same time these companies are not paying their workers salary, deducting money from their workers.

@SD-If we don't come to your door steps, will you bring your donation to our organizations office ? Have you ever volunteered to donate to any organizations ? Did anybody grab from your pocket ? We come to your doorstep and request you to donate. You can refuse and nobody is going to force you. There may be some frauds in some associations but majority of the volunteers spent their own time, car, petrol and energy for these collections. We are not ashamed to do so because there is a noble cause behind.
@SD - My advise for you- Even people with 4 digit salaries are struggling to survive with 2 school going children. Try to make some family planning according to your income. Don't blame associations if you have every year small babies sleeping and struggling to live in Kuwait and no peace of mind. Please.......please......please.

Some times School Children are forced by management of some INDIAN SCHOOLS to collect 1-2 kd from their friends and relatives,really hurts me seeing small children coming up with coupons and asking us pls,pls,pls,forcing our children to beg here and there to sell out the book,
Well,waiting for it this time to complaint against the school management in Ministry of Private education,pls suggest me any other concerned department to do so,

@ Modi. You are mahamurkh. The 3 languages that I wrote are due to most people can read English. Arabs read Arabic while few Malyalees can read only Malyali language.

What Modi mentioned is correct. If you are living in a flat, you have accepted a community living and anybody has the right to knock at your door. Or else you go to a villa and lock the gate. Nobody will disturb you..

This trick work's for me, try it out.
If any unsolicited person comes to my house, they regret it and make sure to never visit again. What do I do? Well, 95% of the time i'm butt naked at home. If anyone unknown drops by, I greet them in my birthday suit, and they run away. What are they going to do? Complain because I'm in the nude at my own place?
I've put a board outside my flat that says 18+.
Some people have been scarred for life. I regret nothing.

Even when you own a flat, you don't own the floor because it is someone else's ceiling. You dont own your ceiling because it is someone else's floor. Most of the walls are shared between two or more owners. Your entrance door is on the common wall. Anybody can knock.

And the same time as Mr. MANIDHAN said Indian School Children are forced by school bosses to collect money from their parents/friends/relatives . You can see all of them are sitting in front row some times they are going to stage to show their cumbersomeness.
We should get away from this or we should avoid any VIP culture this society. Any one can sit in front row but no vip should be entertain.
