dear all please dont be judgmental, am sure what Sridharan K means the style of cooking in tamil nadu, as all states are different cooking style, in Hyderabad the cooking style of biryani may differ from the biryani cooked in Maharashtra and like wise some put potatoes in biryani and some dont like it and some put dry fruits in biryani and some dont, some have it spicy and some mild. so you see its different cooking style so please on one matter atleast give him benefit of doubt we dont need to always point fingers at others. how we have various types of biryani like normal biryani and dum biryani , so the style differs.

@Biriyani, Yes we all know about various flavors of Biriyani. We very well know Hyderabad Biriyani, Kerala Biriyani, Chennai Briyani etc.. that is ok and understood. But this is the first time I am hearing about Muslim Biriyani, Hindu Biriyani and Christian Biiriyani!!!!

All you A**H***s who cannot understand the person is trying to ask Biryani which is similar to the taste which is made in Muslim Homes/Hotels.
Ex:- My mother cannot make Bisi Bele Bhaat/Vegetable Bhaat(and many other dishes which are made in Hindu homes) as tasty as my Hindu neighbors do. So there is a difference in taste in a Hindu Hotel & Muslim Hotel.

another idiot trying to justify the reasoning of original post.....
taste of any food is not dependent on cook's religion...lets not mix religion in everything please......when you go to a restaurant, do you ask the religion of the chef?
If you are served hyderabadi biryani, can you tell the religion of person who has made it?

The menu should have read "Veg" and "Non-Veg". But Indians are very good in discrimination based on caste, creed, religion and color, so why blame others?
The British said "divide and rule", but they left. We still continue that policy.
