Ford Edge owner
I am a very proud owner of Ford Edge SUV 2014 Model & all I can say is that its a pleasure to drive this beast..Very spacious interiors with silky smooth drive..Same time powerful SUV with superb ground control.. Don't know about HONDA CRV's performance on road, but definitely Ford Edge is more bigger & spacious than the CRV Ford Edge rocks! Go for it!

I would take the Honda CR-V any day over the ford edge. Here is a link with proof that CRV is miles ahead compared to the Edge.

Ford good as long as it doesn't give trouble... Once the trouble starts, you are going to cry. It has too many sensors and expensive spare parts... pick the CRV

Heard this sensor story many times over. Nothing will happen for 5 years and if dealer maintained. Most of the people on this site(except the first post) are Prado / Pajero owners. The pleasure of driving an American / German vehicle, is different.

Go for Nissan Pathfinder around 9k. That's is better than Honda CRV or FORD edge. Pathfinder is the best with 3.5 Ltr Engine

The new Ford Edge is small and for me not as pleasing when compared with the old Edge model. Ford might be expensive to maintain in the later years as you might face difficulties to procure parts ( especially sensors and other electronic components) and to find a good mechanic outside the company dealership, but yes you get to drive an American SUV. On the other hand, the new CRV much more refined and better looking, especially with its new tail lamp assembly. Honda is also not a cheap car to maintain, but I believe may be it will be lighter on your pocket in the later years when compared to American cars. You may consider the new VW Tiguan if you love the pleasure of driving a Volkswagen.

American cars... excellent drive quality....u will not drive another car once u've experienced driving a ford..but on the long run no durability.....make sure u get it serviced at the dealer...outside mechanics dont know what they r dealing with...lots of sensors....and poor resale value...honda and other japanese cars....low on driving ergonomics but durability on the long run....plus decent resale value....so if u plan to keep the car for atleast for10 years and do all the service at the center go for the edge...but if u plan to service the car outside for it to be on the cheaper side once the 3 year warranty is done ..or looking for resale valve..go for the crv...
