I hope you can do this without any hassles. Supra is a legendary car.
I would get in touch with car importers in india (Mumbai)

1) You can Export the Car from Kuwait to India but you wont be able to clear it from India Customs as the Car is older than 20 years. 2)even if u get wasta to clear it you wont be able to register it with the Traffic department as registration norms do not allow to register these cars anymore. 3) just for your information, the import tax on cars is 100 % which means if the value of the car is 1 lakh rupees you have to pay 1 lakh extra as the import tax. and the value of the car will be decided by the Indian Customs in indian rupees and not on what you show to them.

It isn't worth the hassles. 1. Clearing customs for a 20 yr old car is a herculean task unless you have been owning the car since then and you are coming to back for good. 2. Given the Supra has a 3.0L engine, tax will be enormous. I am sure you are aware of the tax slabs based on engine capacities. 3. Left hand drive vehicles need additional clearances, permits to run on Indian roads. Some states might not entertain your vehicle's permits as they are form a different state. 4. Don't even think about making it a right hand drive. 5. Finding mechanics and spares would be tough, unless you know someone who repairs exotiques.
Enjoy your drive until it lasts, here in Kuwait.
However, the cheapest options I can suggest to you in India for the same thrill and pleasure of driving is a Skoda Octavia "vRS" (used or new) and then comes ABARTH Punto. Fiat is shutting down in India, so go hurry if you can get an ABARTH Punto.

Admin: Why was Scorpio's posting deleted? It was a very accurate reply to the question.
