Sun roof cars are suitable for those countries where there is very less day light such as Europe. The meaning of Sun roof is roof to allow sunlight while sunlight in Kuwait is in abundance. You have seen kids of arabs peeping out of sun roof just as a fun and I think you too like the same. But there are many risks associated with the sun roof. The roof may work for some time and over the years dust etc. accumulated resulting in the malfunctioning of roof. You have to spend heavy cost to repair roof. Dust can also enter in the eyes of children peeping out of roof.

Dear, If possible / available, go for it. Me and my kids are enjoying the sun roof, , when the weather is good. There is no extra maintenance or any issues, as of now.

Love disciplines
Dear user , First of all ,you plan about to learn disciplines , which you parents not teach your, once you know ,then only you can teach your children . A good parents not allow this stupid thing from their children to opening the roof, standing and viewing. Arab children do that because they raise by their parents without any disciplines. I think you are from small village that''s why you don''t know what is disciplines. So plan nicely and learn .

I don’t think sunroof will be of any use with the kind of weather in Kuwait. Half the time, its dusty or hot or freezing. The days when the weather is really good are mostly weekdays. So kids enjoying the sunroof will be a rare event because most of us go out during weekends. Anyways its ur choice, go for it if u really want it. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it here but would be a gr8 option to have if this was Europe. Plus, do u really want ur kids looking out through the sunroof whilst u r driving. You know how people drive here right

Kia mohave is not a good SUV. Needs lot of fuel. Bumpy drive, hard steering and less features. This is my experience with mohave.
If you can afford, enjoy the good cars/SUV while in Kuwait. You will get great cars for half the price. Look for standard features like sunroof, reverse sensor/camera, premium sound system, cruise control etc. Nowadays lot of latest features can be found in new cars.

# SS, Do you think I, drive with my kids standing and viewing the sight through sunroof like seeing in cinemas, etc. I''m here in Kuwait more than 10 years. I know the Kuwait weather condition. sun roof is not mandatory. but, if available.. for sure we will enjoy. when weather is good.. a short.. slow drive.. in beaches, within streets, etc. Other than our busy driving.. there are time to spend time with kids and enjoy the driving. Anyway thanks for your genuine advice.
# SB, You answered exactly to my first point. I too heard many feedbacks and advices same like you. I take your advice (already took) not to buy used KIA vehicles. Thanks for your genuine advice too.

its a waste man. half the time you wont use it...additionally the summer heat will hit you through the sun roof also. as someone suggested above there is nothing here to be viewed through sunroof. your kids will complain later that sunrays are coming from top also

You are being outright rude to whoever advised you against buying a car with a sunroof. If you already know where to drive, when to drive and how much your kids will enjoy driving on the beach (btw 10 years here and dont know abt gulf road crazy driving, ironic) then why did you ask if its worth it man? If you have made up your mind to buy a car with one then go ahead and buy. Y think twice? Gosh, people here are pathetic.

KIA Mohave is a good vehicle but since i have not used it i cant comment. I would like to share my experience as a Tahoe owner with a sunroof, My kids (9ys/6yrs) just cant get over it even after 2 years of owning it. Every time we go out they want to sneak out the sunroof .(though i don''t let them everytime but once a week is fine). I never had any maintenance issues so far though my SUV model is 2008 model. ITS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT :)

even I know.. sun roof is not that much worth.. if I think only about the vehicle, maintenance, expense, my own interest.. I will never prefer sunroof. but people like # PRADO, SCORPIO, MOHD, ETC.. AND ETC.. there are many people like me.. who like for children. their interest, their fun, etc. and etc. without compromising in their safety. we know how to handle. I don''t think this is a very big risk. i asked advice from experienced people.. but, HERE I FIND PEOPLE.. EVENTHOUGH THEY DONT OWN A SUN ROOF CAR.. THEY ADVICE OTHERS AS IF.. THEY KNOW EVERYTHING.
