@PNR
google it... here is a short list -
1. Dubai mall (burj khalifa) 2. mall of emirates (skiing) 3. skydrive near marina 4. dhow cruise near dubai creek 5. Al ain Zoo 6. Dubai Safari Park 7. Zabeel park - there is always some sort of events going on there 8. Dolphin show - Zabeel Park 9. If you go abu dhabi then you have mosque , marina and few other things i think 10. Obviously, you have plenty of beaches there like jumeriah, but i recommend AL Mamzar ..its nice day out there with BBQ and all..make sure you get there early if its a weekend. 11. Madinat Jumeriah 12. Souk (old dubai) 13. Atlantis monorail and the Palm 14. Ibn Batuta Mall - its different and nice..
hope it helps..

sorry i forgot to list my favorite spot in DUbai i.e. Global village....which you mentioned....there are just so many places in Dubai...
For a family - i see you will have some constraints. My friend, the problem is that everyone has different capacity/desire to travel around and see places.... i cant suggest a day wise itinerary but i can recommend you not to go to Dubai Mall, Global Village on a friday evening...it will be too crowded... Just go thorugh the list....and look at the locations (see their websites) ...come up with a day wise plan for yourself...
and then i can suggest if there is anything you should change to improve the plan...

yes the entertainment App is a good advice..
As far as your intinerary is concerned -
Day 1: Atlantis, Burj AL Arab, Dolphinaorium, Glow garden -------check for dolphinarium times because dophin show and glow garden location is nearby and flow garden needs to be seen in the evening....atlantis and burj arab can be done during the monring (before lunch) type
Day 2: Dubai Theme Parks (Hollywood+Bollywood+Lego) got one day ticket
Perfect go for it....it will take a day
Day 3: Miracle Garden, Butterfly Garden, Global Village
Perfect go for it....it will take a day ...and these are nearby...please dont do it on friday...and global village only opens at 4PM (i think)..just check the website..
Day 4: Al Fahdi Fort, Dubai Creek & abra ride, Burj Khalifa, Fountain, Dubai Mall
Problem here is that creek is more fun in the evening... and fountain/burjkhalifa is also an eveningish activity...Have a rethink....I sugegst you do madinat jumeirah in the monring/afternoon and then spend your evening at dubai mall, burj lhalifa...and enjoy fountains....
move creek (& fort) to day 5....
Day 5: Ibn batuta mall, ???????
You cant miss the beach when you are in dubai...spend morning at al mamzar....then enjoy creek in the evening......i supoose wife would want to visit gold souk as well and its not far from creek...all sort of same area......keep the last day a bit relaxing & less busy.
Enjoy

Dear PNR,
I completely agree with Vikas and suggest you to consider his suggestion. Meanwhile on day 5 instead of visiting any mall i recommend you to visit Al Ain (Zoo & Mountain) its worth it. But it is quiet far from Dubai almost 150 kms. So if you have transportation problem and would like to be in Dubai only then i will suggest you to go for shopping. or go for ice cafe which is a different experience at times square mall on sheikh zayed road near to mall of emirates.
All the best

Day 2: Dubai Theme Parks (Hollywood+Bollywood+Lego) Spend day time Return to Dubai Creek for ABra ride and Dinner, possible?
Day 3: Miracle Garden, Butterfly Garden, Global Village
Day 4: Al Ain (Zoo & Mountain), Burj Khalifa, Fountain, Dubai Mall
Day 5: Al Fahdi Fort, al mamzar, Gold souk, Ibn batuta mall, ???????
Please advise on the above also is the ice cafe is same as Dubai Ski in Mall of Emirates, can we fit into the above schedule?

@PNR
this is a super cool, incredibly busy and optimistic schedule....hope your kid is not an infant/toddler..
Day 2: Dubai Theme Parks (Hollywood+Bollywood+Lego) Spend day time Return to Dubai Creek for ABra ride and Dinner, possible? depends on whats there at this bollywood theme park...but in any case....the dhow cruise ride and dinner will help you relax....Its about an hour drive from theme park coming back to creek....hope you are staying around bur dubai area...coz i am sure you wouldnt want to travel any more after that :p
Day 3: Miracle Garden, Butterfly Garden, Global Village
Day 4: Al Ain (Zoo & Mountain), Burj Khalifa, Fountain, Dubai Mall
..try to get Al Ain early morning ..and enjoy the first half..its beautiful there...Al ain mountain is okay, can be skipped.....but zoo is great...you decide when you get there... Make sure its not friday - dubai mall is annoyingly crowded on friday evenings...
Day 5: Al Fahdi Fort, al mamzar, Gold souk, Ibn batuta mall, ???????
Try to do ibn batuta in the first half..then go al mamzar beach and finish it off in gold souk , meena bazar...

Dear PNR,
Day 4 has a problem. you cannot enjoy al ain plus burj khalifa in one day. As if u go al ain the beauty is to be on the mountain when its sun set to see the beauty of the SUN getting down. so it would b like u go to zoo n then get on top of mountain n till ur back its already very late n tired also to go burj khalifa.. i think u need to make some changes over there.
the same goes to day 2 schedule also. The parks in Dubai are so big that u cannot finish in couple of hours n go for next. if u rush then its not worth visiting that park n pay so much for it.
Personal suggestion... dont rush for discovering everything. enjoy what u see to the max. u can go back to Dubai if u feel its worth in ur next vacation.
Regards,

What are the best family stay options for 5-7 days in Dubai. Kind of semi-luxury ( Hotel/Service Apartment) but benefits being close to Indian restaurants, metro, kids play area/activity etc?

@Ajay, Day 1: morning Jumeira, Atlantis, evening - Dolphinorium, Glow Garden, Dinosaur park Day 2: Dubai Theme Parks (full day) Day 3: Al Ain Zoo (full day, but not recommended) & Dhow ride (creek) Day 4: morning Dubai Museum, Butterfly Graden, Miracle Garden & Global Village Day 5: morning Dubai Ski (Mall of Emirtaes), Dubai Aquarium(Dubai Mall), Burj Khalifa, Fountain. Return to Kuwait midnight
Tips (my mistakes/misses !!!!): 1. don't target more than 2 attractions in a day as there is too much to walk inside the attractions and travel time 2. Dubai theme Park is a must visit 3. use Metro to the full to save time and unlimited travel. But taxi is not avoidable as most of the attractions are outside the city and nor connected by metro 4. do the online booking for most of the facilities and for prime time
thank you all

Thanks for the valuable feed back ! God Bless ! A Few queries Day 1: morning Jumeira, Atlantis, evening - Dolphinorium, Glow Garden, Dinosaur park....Are all these places Close by Global Village Day 5: morning Dubai Ski (Mall of Emirtaes), Dubai Aquarium(Dubai Mall), Burj Khalifa, Fountain. ? Are these places close by ? I mean in the same area ?
do the online booking for most of the facilities and for prime time. How can we have the booking made as I see various websites offering combinations ?
Could you make use of the app ?
We are just a couple (No kids) Would it wise to go to a theme park.
Could you provide the namke of the hotel you stayed in I am not able to decide. We dont want to be very far off.

@kailash goswami, Glow Garden & Dinosaur park are on the same place. Also, the Mircal Garden & Butterfly Garden is on the same area. Others are far ans you have to use Metro or Taxi When I say do online, its for offers and to avoid long ques. You have to c the offers /combinations and your time availability As shopping was not in our plan, we didn't spend much time in Malls for shopping. Theme park is for everyone and its an a experience I didn't use any app as i have no internet connectivity there. but if you can it may be better
we stayed for two days with a family friend in Sharjah and then we moved to our hotel booked in Burjman, Dubai, very close Metro station. Please book the hotels near (not more than 5 minute walk) Metro stations ....
