when it rains i face the same issue . So I believe the A/C getting wet is cause of the problem.
When it dries up , there is no tripping.

The same problem has happend to me. This issue is more priviliant where the Air handling unit is placed above the washroom and when there is significant humidity. Since the blower motor is mounted vertically the air passing will be containing moisture content and settle down on the windings making a short circuit and thus tripping the protection circuit. The temporary remedy is to leave the AHU off for some time so that the moisture evaporates and short circuit is cleared. If that dont help, then you need to re-varnish the motor windings to clear out possible exposed windings.
Note: I am not an AC expert, but these are from my experience. Please correct me if wrong.
