Buyer & Seller
1. Buyer pays for the car testing which is then adjusted in the car price. For example if the car price is 1000 KD and testing fee is 25 KD and if the buyer agrees to buy the car after satisfactory test, he will pay 975 KD. If buyer is not satisfied then its a tricky situation who will bear the cost of testing. So before you take the car for test, clarify what to be done if the buyer is not satisfied else later on MC & BC.
2. Cash is paid to the seller before the car is transferred in buyer's name.
However both the above subject is subject to understanding between both parties. On a further note, when I sold my car, I ensured that I get the cash before I transferred the car in buyer's name. I counted the currency several times, kept the money in the pant pocket and then proceeded for dafter change. It is my nature that I don't trust strangers in money matters.

Reality is buyers in kuwait are always at receiving end of risk.
1. Mostly buyer has to bear the cost irrespective of the outcome unless specifically agreed upon at the beginning of the deal with mutual agreement. 2. Again Buyer takes on the risk of paying the cash probably partially until the car registration is not transferred unless agreed upon. You could get the seller to take a copy of his civil id and write the advance payment and sign on it as a least precaution, but nothing official.
Best option is buy per-owned car from one of the brands in al rai who sell second hand cars...

dear violet rays, did someone beat black blue and violet you. I bet you don't own a car or don't even have that kind of standard. simply poking your nose everywhere does not suffice. find yourself a better job.
