Honda Pilot or KIA Sorento

I'm planning to buy a new SUV or crossover 7 seater around 9000KD (by loan). I want to use the vehicle atleast for 5 years. After lot of research online, I shortlisted KIA Sorento and Honda Pilot.
Sorento with lot of features for lesser price. (Sunroof, forward collision warning, LED headlamps, 20 yeras warranty and lot)
Pilot is the base model, but the best in class safety features, but higher price than the fully packed Sorento, almost 800KD.
I request the above vehicle users to share your experience & valuable advice about the vehicle reliability, after sale service etc. Thank you

In my opinion, don't buy new car that also big price. Go for used car saloon. Situation in job market is not healthy. Anytime you may face problems and with loan it magnifies. Moreover the used car market has crashed so there will not be good resale value.

Honda Pilot would be more durable over period of time. I have heard KIA cars have low quality electronics.

If you have 9000 KD buy three years old Prado. Can sell anytime. Other cars resale will be an issue. KIA after five years get ZERO value. Honda Pilot will get 1500 KD after five years. Think twice before buying.

Go for Sorento. KIA has improved its quality over the years. It is the second best selling brand in Kuwait after Toyota. You will be surprised to know that the hardware (including electronics) in both Honda & KIA are supplied by BOSCH (which is a German brand).

Steering of the Sorento is much better than Honda.

Without doubt Honda Pilot is superior than Sorento.
