Hiho
I think this is a very good question which has relevance to many of us here. As per my limited knowledge, the property will be distributed as per the Islamic inheritance law (whether the person is a Muslim or a non-Muslim). It means that many people will have the rights to the property like son/ daughter, wife (husband), father, mother etc. The exact percentage will depend on the number of children, whether father/ mother is alive, no. of brothers, sisters etc. A wife will generally get less than that of children & parents. Even with a will, only 1/3rd can be given to person(s) of own choice.
My knowledge of this subject is limited. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If his family is in Kuwait or outside Kuwait, all his beneficiaries should come together and give a POA to someone. Based on that (after necessary attestations), he/ she can dispose off his assets. Problem comes if there is a family dispute and one or more of the beneficiaries object.
