Dear SN
Is it possible to put renewal request and latin name correction same day? I put "online" renewal request yesterday and when trying to correct latin name giving me till now - "You can not update your latin name, because there is no issuance request for the civil id". Some one in forum suggested to wait for online payment link SMS from PACI after that correct latin name.
I tried to put latin name correction before renewal request and then it gave me that no renewal request exists, reason why had to enter renewal request first.
Can you give your steps how you proceeded with paci urls if possible ? Thanks in advance
UPDATE: I understand on residency renewal when you receive PACI sms for civil id renewal, that time one can enter civil id renewal as well as latin name correction. On subsequent civilid renewal request (like i sent request second time) latin name cannot be corrected online. Any body can correct me.

@ SN. Kindly educate all folks about the Latin (English) name correction.
Did you correct your Arabic name too or just English name?
This issue is not yet clear that are we supposed to correct English name only and just ignore Arabic name (whatever name in Arabic is written does not matter) or we are supposed to correct English & Arabic name.
Pls. enlighten all. Thanks

I understand on residency renewal when you receive PACI sms for civil id renewal, that time one can enter civil id renewal as well as latin name correction online. On subsequent civilid renewal request, like i sent request second time hoping to remove online additional father name in english(my only correction), cannot be corrected online. Any body can correct me.
today I went to PACI , my child''s name in pp is A B, mine C D. Cid has A B C D. Paci staff said English first name and last name is correct and as per passport, additional father name is not issue, also no issue for travelling. I will see now when I travel next.

@ NR. Kindly inform if you corrected Arabic name too or just ignoring it. This is very important and no one knows what surprise you will get at the airport in case English name is correct while Arabic name is not correct.

I just traveled and returned. As NR had mentioned, there is no problem if first two names in English are correct. After first two names which match the passport , let them put ur fathers name, your pet dog''s name and your neighbors name, no one cares. Others pls dont confuse and torture everyone''s life asking for various combinations. Just travel. Forget about Arabic names, irrelevant.
