No you cannot drive... as you do not have a license with you.
Jolly is correct. Driving without a license is an offence.

Driving without a license and driving without a license in hand are two different things. People including Jolly Roger seem not to know the difference.

Dear abc This situation happened with me once. I asked the police officer if I can drive ? he advised that one can drive for maximum of 5 days however must carry the mukhlaifa invoice all the time and in inspection show the invoice. however he suggested to settle the mukhalifa ASAP to avoid interrogation and inconvenience by inspection cops. Go to traffic dept ASAP and pay the mukhalifa, obtain the clearance paper and collect the license soon. also they will deduct 1 point from 14 pointer scale.

Hi, I also dont know the official side of it. Nobosy posting here knows the official side of it. all are simply blabbering. but legally using our common sense you can thing driving without a lisence is an offense. but since you have the lisence and ticket you have to check. BUT THINK BECAUSE THEY WANT YOU NOT TO DRIVE THEY TOOK YOUR LISENCE.??

@Jolly you mind your language. No one expect a good answer from you. So better keep quite. Why are you making fun of people if you don' know the answer. Is it a must that you should answer the question before anyone answers. FRT--Google

@Union jack How can you justify Jolly's reply. He is advising abc to drive without license and mocking him that he will be deported. When a person is in desperate situation, he is asking some advice here you Jolly add oil into the fire giving him more fear and making fun. Don't just support nonsense. and it is not criticism or insult. in fact Jolly is insulting abc. try to understand

Dear Friends,
this happens to me day before yesterday and the police said I crossed the red light but still am not sure whether I did so. They took my license and asked me to go Mubrak alkabeer.
Now I need to travel tomorrow and I checked in below link. But nothing is updated https://www.moi.gov.kw/portal/venglish/.
https://portal.acs.moi.gov.kw/wps/portal/
I am worried whether there will be any problem at airport or can I pay the fine at airport and collect my dl after coming back.
hope you will understand my situation. Please advice.
Thank you

Normally it takes couple of weeks to come in the portal. If its not locked then u can pay online using knet.

Dear Shuweikh,
Thank you very much for your reply. I have registered long back with MOI site mentioned by you and checking every half an hour for update. So far nothing.
Since I am dealing first time with such issue, can I understand suppose if the fine appear in the system of immigration is it possible to pay at airport ?
and please what is payment lock in system? does it allow me to pay at airport if am not able to pay through Knet ?
Thank you
Thank you.

Minor traffic offences can be paid online as it will be open.
Crossing Red light is a major offence leading to accident and fatality. Hence it cannot be paid online, though the fine is posted in the portal. In such a situation you have to go to the Asma traffic dept/ your area traffic dept and meet the manager and request him to unlock. Once its unlocked he will give you the paper and you can pay in the counter there.
I hope you wont face any problems for travelling and reentering after vacation.

Neo, There is no problem for you to travel but I suggest you to visit muroor and collect your license ASAP.For this fine only payment at the muroor is accepted after you get a sign-off from the manager.
