Unless you work in a Government company like KOC or KNPC, you dont have the rights to keep your passport with you.. Most of the private companies keep their employees' passports with them.. If the employee is not giving the passport to them then no salary..
you think you can keep ur passport with you and just work like that ? what if u run away before your contract ends ??
So better u give the passport to the company or else you wont get full salary !

But I just new started from Oct 20, 2016. 3months probation period. after 3 months only when they stamp company residence we will give passport. but beginning they should give salary without passport.

3 months we can also leave or company can also terminate us with out notice. but why now giving salary for working days. if company doesn't want they will say don't come from tomorrow. but we can not leave if company is not good. this is not fair. oct/nov, salary I did not get.

@Esh - just a suggestion...if you dont know something...dont offer advice to others...
The Ministry resolution number 143/A/2010 says in (Article 1) “It is prohibited for private sector employers and oil sector employers to hold traveling documents of their employees”
Then (Article 2) mentions a punishment from the labor law for employers in the private sector who do not follow (Article 1). The punishment mentioned in (Article 141) from the labor law is as follows:
“In the event where the violator does not remedy the violation within the specified period, he shall be subject to a fine of not less than KD100 and not more than KD200 for each of the workers who are involved in the violation. In the event of recurrence within three years from the date of the final judgment, the punishment shall be doubled.” This means that your employer will get fined KD100-200 for keeping your passport.
– According to the labor law, if you have a complaint against your employer, the Minstry of Labor and Social affairs will look into it before it gets to court and will try to resolve it
– If it does go to court, the court has exempted laborers from any court fees

Who are you with? Nobody can give your guarantee as well? You can as well run with company's money and take your passport for personal work prior to that?

If Company doesn't want employee, they can say with out notice, don't come from tomorrow. But in the same time employee's also have rights with in 3 months (probation period)if company is not good can see outside other employments. that is why 3 months period kept know. in my case from Oct 2016 I did not received salary. this is not fare.

Hello mam/sir i want to tell you about My situation m working with True value egaila branch as cashier from last 17 months on. 11 march2019 when i come to work my manager call me in office nd show me the camera footage he blame me for steal money after that he check my cash box.he did not found wrong anything in my cash box .l then afterthat he change my work cashier to sales man after one month he call me again in office nd give me warning latter then after two days write da apologize latter to compny but i never steal money i write bcz i respact manager. then next day morning he force me to resign nd give me threat of police station that time i got scard and i gave resign then after some day my supervisor call me nd said tommrow u have to go shoon office for visa cancellation. my company mandup took me to shoon nd force for telling everthing ok to shoon officer then after visa cancel u take your salary. that day i say No in shoon office after that company Mandup call me in office nd then threating me of police. they dont have any proof against me then after that yesterday they took again pme to shoon office i said again No in shoon then in evening i went to my store for work then manager call me in office nd said leave the store right now today i go to alrai headoffice then (my manager angry on me bcz i say No yesterday in shoon office then he said to me we never give your salary nd your passport on 14 july my visa will finish then i will be iligal here in kuwait then police can catch me then your passport u get in police station then police will beat you nd put in jail then police deport) without salary how can i stay here. i dont have money for food nd room rent they said me allwys go shoon in say all okk then we give u money i cant trust on company thats why i two time say no to shoon office then they making problem for me now m in trouble.

First and foremost, Leave the company because u should not trust a company which denies giving salary to their employees. Many things happens against the law under the company, but nobody stop giving salary.
Secondly, if u have the contract stating that u are working with them on probation, use it to go to Shoun to claim the outstanding salary.

Hi,
In which position company can hold/keep my passport? and now there is no more VISA stamp on passport so why company need our passport?
I have signed the contract on "A" company but sister company is forcing me to do work for "B"company too, in this case can stuck with signed contract and refuse to work for company for "B"
