Please don't listen to Jolly's comment and you will only face the consequence if it makes and issue. It is better to inform the passport office than taking it granted by listening to Jolly Roger.

The same thing happend to my child civil id also. I checked with one person working there and he told me if we go with the passport they will correct but charge 5 K.D. Yesterday checked with another person told me that if you go with in a week time and see the mudeer they will correct it free of cost. My case now two months passed so I didn't changed it.
