IIMT Engineering Degree Validity

Hi Dears,
I have completed one year diploma in civil engineering. Recently I heard that IIMT offers Engineering Degree Program(B.Tech) for HSC or Diploma Holders. I would like to Join for that as i am working in a contracting company.
Could you please advice Validity of this course? Do any one of you have previous experience with them? Presently my designation is draftsman later if I completed this course can I change my residents to engineer.
Your valuable advices are much appreciated.
