I think you can withdraw Baht from the ATMs in Thailand, but you will be losing a lot with very low rates.. Even the Money exchanges inside the airports in Thailand also giving very low rates.. To get the best rate, change Baht from here in Kuwait.

HI. Carry USD or GBP from Kuwait. And exchange it in Thailand against BAHT. At the airport before immigration itself you will get Bank kiosk, where you can exchange. But don't exchange everything there as you will get better rates as you go further inside Thailand, around your hotel, small exchange house etc. Exchange them as you would need. Balance USD you can bring back & exchange them against KD.

Whoever suggested to convert to USD is stupid, u will loose twice in conversion. Avoid using any card for cash withdrawals, in any currency, conversion rate is low + other charges. Use cards only for purchases and hotel bills. Change currency in Kuwait and travel.
