A blessed Ramadan to one and all. I am a converted muslim and is fasting now. I have my daughter who is working in a private company and her boss is forcing her to work from 8am to 5pm. This is rediculous when I need her to prepare my breakfast early morning at 3.00pm and iftar at around 6.45 pm. How can she do this when she has to work for 9 hours a day when everything else is closed after 3 pm. It's not fair when the Government does not make the rules that should apply to one and all in order for all to be happy and blessed. I do find this sheer exploitation by private companies who really don't care what the employee goes through anyway. This Ramadan, I shall only prayer for a better and more fair world for one and all. Peace to all in this Holy month.

Nothing new in it. Ministries as usual. This time will less attendance since summar and holiday season. Private companies will make expats work as they want which sometimes crosses 8-10 hours a day. There are no rules for private companies in Kuwait. Only wasta works. The rule does not descriminate Muslims and Non-Muslims for Ramadan timings but it is not mentioned in labour law. This makes private companies to take advantage of the situation.
