Kozhikode District Association elected new officebearers |

The office bearers of Kozhikode District Association for the year 2012-2013 were unanimously elected in the Annual General Body meeting held at Abbasiya Central School. Rajagopalan Edavalath was elected as President, Abdul Najeeb Thamarakunnath as General Secretary and Santhakumar Manathanath was elected as Treasurer of the Association.
Member of Parliament from Kozhikode constituency Mr. M.K.Raghavan, Mr. Shabeer Mandoly and Mr. Ashraf Aydeed were re-elected as patrons.
Abdulla Kollarath and Aboobacker.K were elected as Vice-Presidents and Joseph George was elected as Joint Treasurer. Secretaries of various wings of the Association were also elected in the meeting. Mr. Hassan Koya.K (Organising) , Shaji.K.V (Arts & Culture), Santhosh O.M (Media & Public Relation), Haneefa.C (Member Benefits, Welfare & Investment), Radhakrishnan.P (Membership & Data Management), Ragesh.P.D.(Web & I.T), Basheer Ahamad (Sports) are the new secretaries.
Ibrahimkutty.P.V, Kannan.T.K, Raouf Mashhoor Thangal, Regi Bhaskar, Subair Parakkadavu, Baburaj.V.V, Shaji Mathew, Dr. Behju Balan and Aboobacker Payyoli are the Honorary Members of the Association.
Shabeer Mandoly, Ashraf Aydeed, Rishi Jacob, Asma Abdulla, Kannan T.K, Beeran koya.K.T, Sivan offered felicitation to the newly elected office bearers.
E. Rajagopalan presided over the Annual General Body meeting. Annual report and Financial Report for the year 2011-12 were approved in the meeting. Rishi Jacob welcomed the gathering and Santhakumar.M expressed vote of thanks. Raju S Kandy controlled the election proceedings.
