The great delightful personality “Aavoor M. Abdus Shakoor Faazil Manbayee”, well known by the title “Sengottai Singam”, the Expert scholar, Proficient Islamic Literate arrived Kuwait on special invitation of Ministry of Awqaf on behalf of Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee (K-Tic) for the 7th year Isra’a wa Al-Mi'rAaj programs. A series of four fabulous programs and three more short programs in Tamil, were arranged by K-Tic during the period June 14-18, 2012. Moulavee Ash-Shaikh M.S. Mohammed Meera Shah Fazil Baqaavee (President of K-Tic) presided over all the programs and Moulavee Afzalul Ulamaa Ash-Shaikh A.B. Khaleel Ahmed Baaqavee M.A., (General Secretary of K-Tic) convened them all. The details are given below.
First Program :
On June 14, 2012 Thursday, an impressive program with an audience of 300 individuals (including ladies & kids), started at 7:00 pm after Magrib Prayer, and went until 10:30 pm at Masjid Mizyad Al Hilal Al Othaibi, Fahaheel. The Syrian Imam of the Masjid, Ash-Shaikh Saamee Abdul Muthalif Al Baaj Al Sakraba gave a short note in Arabic on the event of Isra’a and Mi'raaj which was simultaneously translated to Tamil by Moulavee Ash-Shaikh M. Zaiul Aabideen Baaqavi (Vice President of K-Tic).
Then the Chief Guest Ash-Shaikh M. Abdus Shakoor delivered a special lecture on “Islamic Sharia’a”. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Al-Haaj M. Zahir Hussain (Treasurer of K-Tic) and with the Dua’a by the Chief Guest. Tea and Dinner were served to the attendees.
Second Program :
On June 15, 2012 Friday, an inspiring program with an audience of 800 individuals (including ladies & kids), commenced immediatly after the Juma’a Prayer from 12.30 pm and went until 1:45 pm at K-Tic’s Khaithan Tamil Khuthbah Masjid Miqdaad Bin Amr (r.a.).
The Chief Guest Ash-Shaikh M. Abdus Shakoor delivered a special concise lecture on “Prophets of Allah and their service rendered to the community”. The program concluded with the Dua’a by the Chief Guest and soft drinks were served to all the audience.
Third Program :
On June 15, 2012 Friday, a grand program with an audience of 250 individuals (including ladies & kids), commenced at 8:30 pm after Isha Prayer till 10:45 pm at Masjid Al Shaya’a, Kuwait City. The program started with reciting of “Asmaaul Husnaa” - Allah s.w.t.’s 99 Glorious Names by Students Wing of K-Tic.
The Chief Guest Ash-Shaikh M. Abdus Shakoor delivered a special concise lecture on “An Consummate Islamic Family”. The program concluded with the Dua’a by the Chief Guest and soft drinks were served to all the audience. Tea and dinner were served to the attendees.
Fourth Program :
On June 17, 2012 Sunday, an exceptional program with an audience of 200 individuals (including ladies & kids), commenced at 7:00 pm after Magrib Prayer till 10:30 pm at K-Tic’s Khaithan Tamil Khuthbah Masjid Miqdaad Bin Amr (r.a.). Here also the program started with reciting of “Asma Al-Husna” - Allah s.w.t.’s 99 Glorious Names by Students Wing of K-Tic.
Followed by preface on “Isra’a” was given by Moulavee Al-Haafiz Ash-Shaikh M. Muhammed Nizamudheen Baaqavee (Vice President of K-Tic). Then, our Chief Guest Ash-Shaikh M. Abdus Shakoor delivered a brief lecture on the same topic “Isra’a wa Al Mi'raaj”. The program concluded with the Dua’a by the Chief Guest, vote of thanks by Al-Haaj H. Mohammed Nasar (Dy. Treasurer of K-Tic). Tea and dinner were served to all the audience.
All together, about 1750 brothers and sisters attended the program and it was fruitful for the life. We kindly request the our brothers and sisters to attended the Jumma’a Prayer at K-Tic’s Tamil Khuthbah at Masjid Miqdaad Bin Amr (r.a.), Khaithan located opposite to Hotel Crowne Plaza, Farwaniya.
