Kuwait to recruit Pakistani physicians
Posted on 7/15/2012
Kuwait Heath Ministry Undersecretary for Technical Affairs Dr. Khalid Al-Sahlawi has announced that a delegation will head to Pakistan Sunday to make interviews and hire physicians for primary health care centers.

In statements to KUNA, Al-Sahlawi said that the recruitment trip comes within the framework of long-standing cooperation between Kuwaiti-Pakistani health ministries.

He added that the Pakistani physicians are well-trained and well-qualified.

"Over 230 applications were submitted to the Kuwaiti Embassy in Pakistan and the Health Ministry officials have reviewed them," he said, noting that nearly 100 applicants have the qualifications required by the ministry.

The Kuwaiti delegation will conduct interviews with those applicants and choose the most suitable for the jobs, he said.

Kuwait Health Ministry hired last year over 50 Pakistani physicians for the primary health care centers across the nations.

"They have done a good job in their work in Kuwait and Kuwaiti officials and patients are pleased with their performance," Al-Sahlawi said.

Good.Hopefully the ministry could think of replacing these egyptian and syrian doctors with someone with some doctors with common sense to actually diagnose the patient and not like these egyptian fools who dont even know to provide an injection

Excillent initiative.. which is reflectant of healthy relationship between both brotherly nation.. who hav always stood firm for each other.. especially the pivotal role played during Iraq invasion in 1990 and devastating events in Pak due to flood.. Pakistani doctors and financiers has earned world wide recognition in US in particular for thr services.. Doctors frm Agha Khan Uni and King Edward are already employed in private sector as head of dept. in Salaam hospital, Mowasaat etc. Getting ths higly qualified doctors in public sector will get a multiplier affect..
