Ministry closes files of 2 firms for making staff work under direct heat

The head of inspection team at the Ministry of social affairs and labor Eng Hussain Al Mutairi revealed that the ministry closed the files of two companies for making their personal work during the banned time between 12 noon and 4 pm., Arab Times daily reported citing Alam Alywm daily.

The inspection team registered 643 violations against 149 sites during a filed tour. Some laborers were found without civil id while some did not have the license to indicate that they were healthy enough to work at that site, adding that most of the laborers were threatened by their contractors to complete the work within the deadline in order to earn their fee, daily reported.

Also I request ministry to close the files of those companies who deny air condition facilities to delivery vehicles. this level of temp. poor drivers and labours are realy suffering than those construction workers.

This is one of the hottest months ever in Kuwait and I see the poor guys working even in day time till 11 or 12 in many places.

What cruelty is this ? I can barely sit in my car in this heat with the AC on. I don't know how they make those people work at the same time outside.

The companies should not just be closed , punishment must be given to the management, One whole day they must be made to stand outside in the same heat.

well done ministry of social affairs,inspect in mahboula also,lot of sites is going on near alia international hospital and poor labour are doing work in between 12 to 4 pm by forcibly ,catch the contractor and make a case against them,

please do give other job options for the employees who were with physically fit card to do this job, with civil id's and were fit for this work. these employees were compeled by the unnamed company personnels. so why the employee should suffer. if the company file is closed, these emloyees also do suffer, am i right????
