KALA Kuwait organized condolence meeting on the demise of legendry freedom fighter and Socio political activist Capt. Laksmi Saigal. The meeting was presided over by KALA President K. Vinod while Saleem Raj presented the condolece message. The meeting observed that the demise of Capt Laksmi has created a vaccum in the area of value based politics especially in the current era of its deterioration and unthical practices. Captain Lashmi as a professional doctor lead a meaningful life in the charity front by offering free medical tratment for thousands of poor people though her hospital in Kanpoor.KALA also highlighted in the meeting that that Capt. Lakshmi decided to be a part of left progressive political movement in India for the major part of her life in independant India and thus proved the worthiness of leading a fruitful life dedicated in uplifting the bereaved and destitute of our society. homas Mathew Kadavil, Sam ynummodu, Sumathi Babu, Sajitha Skaria, Naganadhan, N. Ajith Kumar, T.V Hikmath, Krishnan Kutty, Noushad, J Albert etc. spoke on the occasion about Capt.Laksmi. KALA-Kuwait acting secretary Vinnu Kalleli welcomed the audience while Sudarshanan rendered vote of thanks.
