Attitude

What makes our life to reach great heights? Is it Luck? Education? Knowledge? Hard work? …….?
It is true that all of the above, in one way or the other, helps us in attaining success. But the one that makes our life successful is Attitude-the way in which we approach things.

We all know that there are 26 letters in the English alphabet (A-Z). Let us take the numbers 1-26 for these alphabets in order.
A-1, B-2, C-3, D-4, it goes on….and Z becomes the number 26.

It is a surprising fact that the factors- luck, education, knowledge, hard work when taken as the sum of the corresponding numbers of the English Alphabets in their order according to the above mentioned method we get :-

L+U+C+K = 12+15+22+5= 54%

Similarly,

Education = 92%

Knowledge = 96%

Hard work = 98%

But Attitude – A+T+T+I+T+U+D+E = 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100% !!!!

Our mind is a computer that can be programmed. We can choose whether the software installed is productive or unproductive. Our inner dialogue is the software that programs our attitude, which determines how we present our self to the world around us. We have control over the programming. Whatever we put into it is reflected in what comes out.

One of the ways to change our attitude towards achieving our goal is self-motivation. Self-motivation is the best motivation. We should always appreciate ourselves. We should admire our skill and talent whenever we do something. We should not be depressed or discouraged with any of the difficulties that we face. We have to look at the good things from those problems so that the intensity of it gets reduced. Even if people criticize us when we lose something, we should remember that making mistake is one way of learning and we should try to ignore the criticisms.

We should have a calculative approach to knowledge, skill and common sense. What is to be done is knowledge, How it is done is skill, When to be done is common sense. If we follow this approach, we will reap the fruits without fail.

Some tips for achieving goals with right attitude:

1. We must write down the goals we want to accomplish as clearly as we can.
2. We must visualize ourselves as if we have already accomplished our goals.
3. We must always think about our success, not our failure.
4. fter setting our goals and making plans, we must work to accomplish what we seek because the greatest plans are worthless if they are not acted upon.

Right thinking with positive approach is a magnet for success in life. If it is with us, it can always attract success. Try it !!!
