Badminton Tournament by KALA Kuwait, Championship goes to Mangaf Team. |

In the fourth Badminton Tournament organized by Kerala Art Lovers Association (KALA Kuwait), the Mangaf Team declared champions for the second consecutive time. In the finals, the Mangaf team led by Sanal Kumar & Jyothish defeated the Abu Halifa team led by Sunil Raj & Tinu, by winning three continuous sets. The tournament held at the Fahaheel Sports Club was inaugurated by Sri. Babu Chackola. Eighteen teams participated in the tournament.
The tournament inaugural meeting was presided over by KALA Kuwait president Sr. K. Vinod. KALA Kuwait Sports wing secretary Sir. Johnson George and Joint Secretary Sri. Sudersanan spoke on the occasion.
The prizes to the winners were distributed by Kuwait president of Kuwait-Indian Badminton Association Sri. Manimaran Chozhen. KALA Kuwait president Sri. K. Vinod, Secretary Sri. Saji Thomas Mathew, Joint Secretary Sri. Sudersanan, Treasurer Sri. Vinod K. John, Literature Wing Secretary Sri. Salim Raj, Sports Secretary Sri. Johnson George, Vice President Sri. P.R. Babu and Central Committee member Sri. Sajeeve Abraham.
The tournament was controlled by Sebastian, Ibrahim, Rasheed, and Sayed. Vinu Kalleli, James K Thomas, Harish Kavumbai, Jijo Dominic, Arun Raj, Sudhakaran, Noby Antony, Prinston and Santhosh led the events. |
