Thats really good news. I know lot of my friends & families suffering due to this ban, but situation or decision is still not clear from ministry. It looks like Government/Ministries employees only can apply visa's. Let wait & let the decision more clear regarding it.

“Citizens from those countries who are working as government employees can now apply for visit or family visas to bring their family members to Kuwait based on the above mentioned conditions". Read this only for govt.employees, all facilities for them, they are the LORDS.what for us,just to read the news for them.

Great news! on humanitarian basis family visa shouldn't be banned for any country.. in particular, Pakistan enjoy cordial relation with Kuwait especially the support of Pakistan army during Iraq war 1990 is strong evident of cordial relation between the brotherly states.

look in Arab-times they have it online KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmad Al-Humoud has reportedly issued a decision to grant expatriates from Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan, which were under a visa ban, the right to apply for visit and family visas, says Al-Jaridah daily quoting an informed source. He disclosed that visas for male and female children will be issued only if they are not above 15 and 18 years of age respectively. He said the decision also grants Undersecretary Lt General Ghazi Al-Omar the right to approve such applications, which was previously restricted only to the minister. He explained that the applicants should submit their applications at the immigration offices from where these will be referred to the Undersecretary Office. The source reiterated, “Citizens from those countries who are working as government employees can now apply for visit or family visas to bring their family members to Kuwait based on the above mentioned conditions”. http://www.arabtimesonline.com/NewsDetails/tabid/96/smid/414/ArticleID/191951/reftab/96/t/Kuwait-lifts-ban-on-visit-family-visas/Default.aspx
