Kozhikode District Association, Kuwait organised Iftar Meet on 11th July 2014 at Indian Community School, Salmiya. The active presence of large number of association members and prominent personalities in Kuwait from different walks of life made the function to a grand success. Association President Mr. Haneef.C presided over the function. General Secretary Mr. Shyjith.K explained the activities of the association.

Mr. Anwar Saeed, the renounced orator made the spiritual address regarding the holy Ramadan. The audience listened to his words with great enthusiasm. He elaborated upon the importance of Iftar Meet in developing communal harmony and stressed upon the significance of fasting in the Ramadan which enables a person to purify his mind and body which transforms him into a good human being. As honor from association, Association Patrons Mr.Shabeer Mandoly and Mr.Ashraf Aydeed hand over the memento to Mr.Anwar Saeed.

Eminent personalities, Mr. Sharaffudin Kanneth (Norka representative), Mr. Ibrahimkutty.P.V, Mr.Reji Bhaskar, Association Vice President Mr. Abdulla Kollorath, Abbasiya Area President Mr.Gireesh Babu, Fahahel Area President Mr.Thaha.K.V, Farwaniya Area President Mr. Shamsudheen.K, Salmiya Area President Mr.Sasidharan.P.K and the officials of leading associations in Kuwait were present on the dais.
