A drug dealer was arrested with two kilograms of hashish, one kilogram of shabu (methamphetamine) and 10,000 drug pills, the Interior Ministry announced yesterday. The arrest happened based on investigations into information that reached the Drug Control General Department, about an Asian man selling drugs. Detectives were able to identify the suspect following extensive investigations, then obtained a warrant to raid his house, where he was arrested.
The man admitted during questioning that the drugs found in his house were prepared for trafficking. The information had indicated that the man used to leave the drugs for his clients in places they agreed upon through phone conversations to avoid being caught red handed while handing the drugs directly to addicts.
The information also revealed that the man worked with other accomplices who would collect the money for him.
