Ferrari World is a Ferrari themed amusement park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The central park is situated under a 200,000 m2 (2,152,782 sq. ft.) roof, making it the largest indoor amusement park in the world. Ferrari World officially opened on 4 November 2010. The theme park is the home to Formula Rossa, the world's fastest roller coaster.

We started our journey to this theme park from Dubai on 18th June 2014.We left our hotel at 9.00Am in the morning and reached Abu Dhabi Ferrari world at 10.30 Am. The drive was amazing with lovely tall buildings on the sides and an empty road to drive through.
As soon as we entered we bought our entry tickets which costs AED 240 per person.
The theme park is open from 11.00Am to 20.00Pm.
As soon as you enter, the first thing you get to see is the logo of Ferrari and then the Ferrari gift store which has a wide range of Ferrari items like T-shirts, bags, caps, cups, key chains etc.
You can also pick up your park map which will guide you through the entire park and help you to make sure that you have not missed any ride or any important spot.
If you are lucky enough you will also get a chance to click your photos with the Ferrari mascots as I got. Lucky me!!!!!
The rides and shows at Ferrari world are as follows:
Bell ‘Italia: It exhibits recreations of famous Italian cityscapes, structures and racing venues.
Tyre Twist: Ferrari’s version of the traditional tea cup ride.
Cinema Maranello: It is a film which takes us back to the 1920s.
Driving with Champions: It’s an interactive 3-D show which follows the life of a Ferrari engineer.
Fiorano GT Challenge - It is a dual launched roller coaster manufactured by Maurer Söhne.
Formula Rossa: It is a hydraulically launched roller coaster. It is currently the world's fastest roller coaster, reaching a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph).
Since it has great speed you are provided with eye protectors.This ride gives you the aerial view of the entire city of Abu Dhabi but the ride gets over within seconds due to the high speed.
Galleria Ferrari: The world's largest Ferrari gallery outside Maranello.
G-Force: A space shot tower which launches riders over 62 m (203 ft.) up and out of the building.
Junior Grand Prix: It is a racing school for budding Scuderia drivers.
Junior GT: A driving school for children
Junior Training Camp: A soft play area where children can paddle their own miniature Ferrari and play with a foam model of an F1 car.]
Made in Maranello: It is a virtual tour inside the Ferrari factory in Maranello giving us a glimpse into the design, assembly and testing of a Ferrari GT.
Paddock: It is a realistic recreation of the Ferrari team's set up at European F1 races.
Fast Lane: It is an interactive theatre which allows guests to call the shots on how a virtual driver is to race.
Racing Legends: A journey showcasing significant moments in Ferrari racing history.
RED: A Theatrical Spectacular of Speed and Passion – Conceived, designed and produced by Thinkwell Group, RED is a 25-minute live show that pays tribute to the passion of Enzo Ferrari with shadow play, pas de deux performances, scarf dances, choreographed trampoline displays, juggling
Acts, German wheel sets, stunt skating and racing antics.
Speed of Magic: A fantasy 4-D journey following the adventures of a boy that plays a game who has to beat a fly named Nello, named after the last portion of the Ferrari car, Maranello but loses and his dad calls him so he would ride the Ferrari but when putting on his shoes, Nello is voiced by Lucien Dodge while Alex Goot provides his singing voice. Nello sings Let It Go, Firework and more songs by Alex Goot (Nello's singing voice). Nello from the video game steals the Ferrari keys from his dad while tying his shoes and chases it as he travels through a kaleidoscope of natural and phenomenal environments, where no Ferrari has gone before.
V12: It is a flu ride through the heart of a Ferrari 599 engine.
Viaggio in Italia: This a marvellous recreation of an aerial voyage over Italy. You have to remove your slippers and keep all your bags down to enjoy this ride. It was totally amusing, astonishing and filled with fun .I enjoyed this ride the most. It was something really extraordinary which words cannot explain. You just can’t afford to miss this at any cost.
The shows were all marvellous but it was tiring as you have to wait in queues to watch the shows and you have to walk a lot as the area is very huge but trust me it is worth it.
I was mesmerized to see so many Ferrari cars of different styles, designs and to know and learn about their history. I am feeling proud as I was a part of this amusing world for a day but the memory will last forever.
