Friday Forum Kuwait BIDS Farewell To P.K. Jamal

Friday Forum Kuwait gave a warm farewell to P.K. JAMAL, the founding member and long served advisor, in a solemn function held at Hotel Rajadhani Palace, Khaitan on Friday 5th Sept. 2014. P.K. JAMAL contributed greatly to the community through his writings, lectures and he is a well known islamc scholar in Kuwait and he is leaving Kuwait for good after the long 35 years of dynamic social life in Kuwait, The key event of the evening was the thought provoking speech by P.K. Jamal himself on Topic “With firm foot steps, on the path to Paradise”

Friday Forum President Faseehullah Abdullah, started the farewell session with a brief summary of P.K. Jamal’s contribution to Friday Forum since its inception in 1989 and his personal relations with its members. Mohammed Hilal, Dr. Amir Ahmed, Basheer Mohammed, Ashraf Mohammed, Eng. Sirajuddeen, Mohammed Koya, Khaleel Adoor, Munawar Mohammed, Sajid Jamal, Dr. Sajna Munawar and KIG President K.A. Zubair etc., gave felicitation speeches and praised P.K. Jamal for his positive approach, inclusive nature and great contribution for the welfare of the community.

In his emotional reply speech P.K. Jamal illustrated the history of Friday Forum and brought to the audience the inspiring and sweet memories of various eminent personalities and their remarkable contributions to Friday Forum ever since its formation. He highlighted the distinct nature of Friday Forum, which makes it unique among other social organizations . The event was compared by Mansoor Ali.
