YMCA Kuwait handed over financial help to “Karuthal” (an institution working among Cancer patients) & “Sanjo Balabhavan” Karnataka (an institution run for children, those who have no houses, balabhavan support their education to bring them up and give a bright future with good education and to stop the social exploitation) this year.
On behalf of YMCA Kuwait Parimanam Manoj (General Secretary) handed over the amount collected from House to House Carol to Rt. Rev. Dr. Zacharias Mar Theophilus Suffragan Metropolitan (Chengannur - Mavelikara Diocese Bishop of MarThoma Sabha) at Olivet Aramana, Chenganoor. Thirumeni expressed his happiness that the activness of world’s largest youth organization is active in State of Kuwait. He blessed the YMCA activities.
Last year YMCA supported “Boys home Mavelikara” & “Karuthal”. Mr. Iype C. Varghese (Formal UNI-Y Chairman & Chicago MarThoma Church Council Member) & Mr. Sabu Parimanam (YMCA Kerala Region Executive Member) were also present in handover function.
