AVC Kuwait conducted the draw of their All India Open 7 a side Soccer tournament in Kuwait titled “BRIDGESTONE & CASTROL CUP’’ on 12th September 2014 on Surra grounds at 8.30am
The football tournament will be held on 19thSeptember 2014 and 26thSeptember 2014 starting at 6.30am at Surra on the Public Authority of Youth and Sports grounds, Block No. 2, Street No. 5, next to the gas agency.
The tournament will be conducted on league cum knock out formats and are teams are grouped in six groups. The league stage starts on 19th September 2014 with DHL ‘B’ taking on Miracles S.C on Court ‘A” and Sparx F.C clashing with GOA Maroons on Court ‘B’ at 6.30am SHARP. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stage to be held on 26th September 2014.
24 teams are participating in the tournament which includes Navelim Youth Center, GOA Maroons, United Goans Club, Kerala Challengers, Curtorcares United, Santos United, Sparx FC, DHL FC, Soccer Kerala, Kuwait Goan Association, Rising Stars, Don Bosco Oratory, Young Shooters Abbasiya, CFC Salmiya, Indian Strikers, Veterans United, Miracles SC, Real Betalbatim FC, Malabar United, Xaverina Boys of Madel Margao, Derefent Seven and hosts AVC-Kuwait.
