ICSK Amman Branch celebrated Teacher’s Day on 8th September 2014 with an array of spectacular events making the day a memorable one.

A programme was organised by the School Senate with enthusiasm and zeal. The Senate President Dhruv Sharma welcomed all the teachers and emphasized the role played by the Teachers in guiding the students and inspiring them. To express their gratitude towards the teachers, a live band performance followed by dance were organised.

A variety of programmes was arranged for the teachers to make the day enjoyable and a slide show “THE HEART OF A TEACHER” was presented. As a token of their love and affection, “Thank you cards” prepared by the senate were presented to all the teachers.

The students of class IX,X were given the opportunity to take over the classes for the day , a responsibility they shouldered with much enthusiasm . They felt proud to be the student teachers and realized the importance of teachers in their lives.

Teachers with over 20 years experience with the ICSK family, were felicitated. To conclude, various games were conducted and the winners were awarded with prizes. The luckiest winner of the day was picked through a lucky draw .

The Senate Vice-President Ms.Dona Ajay proposed the vote of thanks. The School Senate along with Senate Advisor, Mrs.Aleyamma Satheesh did a commendable job in executing a well planned and systematically organised programme and made it an enjoyable and memorable day for the entire teaching staff of ICSK Amman.
