Telugu Kala Samithi (TKS) organized "CHITRA” LAHARI by Smt. K.S. Chitra

Telugu Kala Samithi (TKS), a well known Telugu Association in Kuwait organized a mega musical extravaganza "CHITRA”LAHARI by Smt. K.S. Chitra and her team on 26th September 2014 in Al-Mansouria stadium. Indian Ambassador H.E. Sri. Sunil Jain attended as Chief Guest to the program. The Program started at 5.15 PM and compered by Sri. Katari Ram Mohan & Smt. Phani Madhavi. The Event sponsor M/s Al-Mulla Exchange’s General Manager Sri. Rakesh Joshi, Marketing Manager Sri John Simon, Platinum Sponsor M/s Huawei’s representative Smt. Jaison, Silver Sponsors representatives Mr. Prasad from Skynet Mobiles, Mr. Rajesh from Transfast and Mr. Mansour from Napesco attended to enjoy this colorful evening.

The Program Started with Traditional lighting lamp and prayer song. TKS President Sri Narasimha Raju GA’s speech, Indian Ambassador’s message and Al-Mulla GM’s addressed the audience. President Sri. Narasimha Raju GA requested ambassador to initiate Indian community center in Kuwait and TKS will be part of that, Ambassador responded positively. In his speech, Sri Raju explained audiance about the phylosophy of the organisation. Telugu Kala Samithi is the largest and one of the oldest Indian Associations registered with Indian Embassy, recently celebrated silver jubilee and just entered into 26th year. TKS organized more than 100 Mega programs with many famous Indian Personalities like Sri. Mangalampalli Bala Murali Krishna, Sri. Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Sri. Mohan Babu, Smt. P. Susheela, Smt. S. Janaki, Smt. Jaya Sudha, Sri. Mano, Sri. Keeravani, Sri. RP Patnayak, Sri. Koti, etc., and now Smt. K.S. Chitra. Also TKS does lot of charity activities helping poor and needy Telugu people in Kuwait, organizing Blood donation camps / Medical camps.

The stadium is crowded more than 3000 and the program went upto 11 PM. The little nightingale of South India Smt. Chitra mesmerized the audience with her sweet voice along with Co-Singers Simha, Sree Krishna, Praveen, Harini and Ramya behara. The highlight of the program is live orchestra by “7 in all international” led by Rakesh. A special souvenir released by Smt. Chitra garu during the program and Treasurer Sri Annaji Sekhar expressed special thanks to all the sponsors who is supported TKS in organizing this event. The lighting, music, LCD screen and other major works handled by Muni Reddy from Tally Group and Photography, Vedio handeled by SB Media. Committee expressed special thanks to program Coordinator Sri. Ram Mohan, Sri. Vijaya Bhaskar (LCD Screen Management) and Sri. Swamy garu (Sound system). The program concluded with vote of thanks by General Secretary. The committee led by President Sri. Narasimha Raju, Vice President Sri. Sudhakara Rao, General secretary Sri. Venkat Koduri, Joint Secretary Sri. Korrapati Venkat, Treasurer Sri. Annaji Sekhar, Mangaf / Fahaheel Executive Sri Subba Rao Mudda, Abu Halifa Executives Sri. Nageswara Rao K / Prasanth (Siddu), Salmiya Executive Sri Laxman Kumar, Farwaniya Executive Sri Chandra Daroor, Abbasiya Executive Sri. Soma sekha Yada and Hawally Executive Sri Perugu Sreenivas. Everyone appreciated the committee for taking up such a big program and congratulated the committee for the grand success.
