Kozhikode District NRI Association, Kuwait (KDNA) elected its new committee members for the year 2014-2015. The new committee was unanimously elected by the executive members under the leadership of Advisory members Krishnan Kadalundi and Basheer Batha. The new team comprises of Zubair MM, Basheer Batha and Krishnan Kadalundi as Advisory Board members. Azeez Thikkodi (President) Sathian Varoonda (General Secretary), Zaheer Alakkal (Treasurer). The Vice Presidents are Suresh Mathur, Kalathil Abdurahiman & Sajeevan Kunnimel. The other main secretaries are Naser Thikkodi (Organizing) K. Alikoya (Membership) Illyas Thottatil (Charity & Welfare) Praju TM (Arts & Culture) Rafi Kallai (Media) Ubaid Chakkitakandy (Sports) Raveendran Mukkam (Employment) Asha Premaraj (Academic) Karunakaran (Investment & Benefit) Ashraf V.K.M (Information Technology). The joint treasurer of the association is Hakkim Villiapily.

Rasheed Payanthong, Mohammed Ali Arakkal, Mohammed Vazhayil, Shyjith Kumar, Balan Koomulil, Suhesh Kumar, Shoukath Ali.R.N, Abdurahiman Naduvannur, Shahina Zubair, Sandhya Shyjith, Asha Premraj etc. felicitated the event.

The Annual Report of 2013-2014 was delivered by the general secretary Suresh Mathur. The income expenditure account was articulated by Sathian Varoonda.

Heartfelt Condolences towards the people who lost their lives in the Funaitees accident near Fahaheel highway was also expressed during the eve.

A resolution was made by KDNA on the India’s Pride Mars Orbit Mission (MOM) ‘Mangalyan’ and conveyed respect and honor towards the ISRO Scientists for the relentless efforts made by them to make our nation proud. The presentation was done by Muhammed Vazhayil. The meeting was presided over by Zubair MM and Suresh Mathur welcomed the entire executive members. The session ended with the Vote of Thanks by Zaheer Alakkal.
