Venmoney Pravasi Association(VPA) Kuwait chapter Celebrated Onam on Sept 19 at United Indian School, Kuwait. The program started with the arrival of the Mahabali accompanied by Thalapoli, Chendamelam , Muthukuda etc. The meeting was presided over by George Varghese, President of VPA, Secretary Manu T John welcomed the gathering. The function was inaugurated by Ravi Varma Thampuran, Asst. Editor Malayala Manorama, Pathanamthitta Edition by lighting the traditional lamp. Patron Rajan Daniel and advisory board member Babu Varghese felicitated the occasion.
The 2nd edition of the Malayalam novel ‘Bhayankaramudi’ written by Ravivarma Thampuran was released by VPA president George Varghese by handling over a copy to VPA patron Mr. Rajan Daniel.
The delicious “OnaSadhya” was served to all attendees in traditional way and style. Various programmes were organized under the leadership of General convenor Jibi Chacko and program compered by John Mathai. George Mathew delivered vote of thanks.
