TCB Cert. Worldwide and IEI Kuwait chapter celebrated World Quality Day 2014

Quality is the most important element of business that is often overlooked by many organizations in their pursuit of growth. TCB Cert. Worldwide, LLC, an IRCA Approved organization offering Quality, OH&S EMS training and Certification service celebrated World Quality Day in Kuwait on 13th November 2014 in collaboration with The Institution of Engineers (India), Kuwait Chapter to build awareness of quality as a key ingredient in strategic planning that improves organizational efficiency and productivity. Sri Shiv Sagar, from the Indian Embassy graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The program was attended by quality professionals and representatives from various leading organizations in Kuwait such as Kuwait Oil Company, Combined Group , Mechanical Engineering & Contracting Company, Arabi Enertech, HEISCO, Al Khadda, NAPESCO, Kirby , Trans Atlantic . Mahatta Trading, Kiran International, Marafie Kuwaitia , Texas Gulf, Canada Gulf and many others including auditors and professionals trained by TCB.

The program started with the National Anthems of Kuwait and India. Eng. Joseph Panicker, Chairman of IEI, Kuwait Chapter gave an introductory speech and presentation about IEI and its role. Mr. Thomas Murphy, QSHE Manager of AMEC gave a wonderful and interactive presentation on Quality. Mr Fairoz H Miller from Arabi Enertech gave a short speech on Quality. The highlight of the show was the Quality Quiz, an interactive and informative event that kept the audience and participants entertained. Mr.Ashish Chakraborty, a QSHE professional and trained auditor by TCB, conducted the Quiz. Quality Champion medals were awarded to the winners Ms.Dalia El Bialy, Ms.Semanti, Ms. Chaitali B Roy, Mr.Gulam Rabbani, Mr.Sitaram Karavadi, Mr.Lijesh Paul, Mr.Naveen Lasarado , Mr Eskinder , Ricky Laguda and Mr. Anuj Singhal, Certificates of Successful completion was handed over to the participants of TCB’s IRCA Approved Quality management and OH&S management system Lead auditor course held recently.

Eng. M S Ray gave the key note speech of the evening, "Excelling business-the ISO way". Sayings by Mahatma Gandhi on customer service such as, “Customer is the most important visitor in our premises…” and by Bharat Ratna J R D Tata: “One must for ever strive for excellence or even perfection…” set the pace of the event. The contribution of Quality Gurus like Dr.Deming, Dr Juran and influence of their work in today’s business and creation of role model companies, transforming ordinary organizations into extraordinary by skillful application of Quality was the core theme of his presentation. Mr.Ray highlighted the key role played by IRCA (A division of CQI ) in Quality World since 1984. Special thanks were offered to the volunteers Mr. Minhazur Rahaman, Ms. Nisha T, Mr. Ajay Sreedhran, Mr. Vadivel , Ms. Beena C.B. Mr. Blesson Abraham and Ms. Shilly Mary Thomas . Ms. Semanti Ray a 12th std. student of FAIPS DPS , Kuwait anchored the event. Eng. Ricky Laguda, an expert photographer and a Trained auditor by TCB captured all the great moments of the event in his camera. Shilly Mary Thomas proposed a vote of thanks to all the delegates with a special thanks to Kuwait’s leading News paper Arab Times and Kuwait’s popular web portal “Indians In Kuwait” .TCB wishes all a happy World Quality Day and success as a Quality professional.
