The Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior offered humble salutation to the country of residence by celebrating the 54th Independence and 24th Liberation days of Kuwait through special assemblies. The assemblies were held on Tuesday, 17th February, 2015, for classes I to VI in two segments.
Rejoicing in the spirit of patriotism and unity, students of the ICSK Junior adorned the display boards with colourful pictorial charts. The historic significance of Kuwait National and Liberation days was articulated and a student addressed a patriotic message in Arabic. Exquisite caps, accessories, traditional costume, bearing the colors of Kuwait flag were worn by the students to exhibit their love and respect towards the country. Conventional and traditional music and dance were the highpoint of the assembly.
Principal in charge Mrs. Sherly Dennis, in her address, advised everyone to respect and honour the country they live in and expressed her gratitude towards the country Kuwait for residing in it peacefully.
