Pre-Primary Graduation Ceremony Held at ICSK Amman

The Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman, celebrated their pre-primary Graduation Day on 12th March, 2015 in the school auditorium. Graduation Day is a special day as the child comes up to the stage to receive the scroll for graduating from the pre-primary section to the primary section. It was indeed a memorable day as 116 young graduates of Amman, adorned in their graduation gowns and caps got set to enter a new stage of life.

The ceremony was graced by the chief guest Mr. Shahzad Gidwani, General Manager of Morad Yousuf Behbehani group and guest of honour Mr. Rajsekhar, brand manager of Morad Yousuf Behbehani group. The function was also graced by honorary members of the Board of Trustees of ICSK, Mr. Joseph Panicker, Mr. Jacob Abraham, Mr. Sunil P. Antony, Mr. Sheffik and the PAC Members Mrs. Shilpa Reddy and Mr. Mohamed Rafi Padiyath.

The programme began with Islamic prayer recitation by Miss LIBA followed by school prayer, Kuwait National Anthem and welcome speech by the students of UKG. The ceremonial lamp of knowledge was lighted by the distinguished guests. School Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair. C welcomed the august gathering with his heartfelt encouraging words.

The Chief Guest Mr. Shahzad Gidwani wished the tiny tots the best for their future. In his Presidential address Mr. Joseph Panicker quoted, “Children are the gift of God; keep them happy with the beautiful smile on their faces”. This was followed by the most awaited moment of recognition as the bubbling ones stepped on the stage to receive the Graduation certificate from the dignitaries. It was a proud moment for the parents and teachers to witness the tiny tots gearing up for 1st standard.

The students, each representing their respective classes, UKG-A Master ADARSH, UKG-B Master KAREN and UKG-C Master NIKHIL expressed their gratitude towards their teachers for the continuous support, guidance and encouragement extended throughout the year. They also summarized their joyful journey of pre-primary. The words of appreciation by the students overwhelmed the teachers.

Master SHIV of LKG entertained the audience with a fantastic dance. Tiny tots of LKG shook their legs on peppy numbers while Miss SLANIA and Master RUTH mesmerized the audience with melodious songs. This beautiful ceremony came to an end with a vote of thanks by the students of UKG.

The pre-primary supervisor Mrs. Julie Anthony, on behalf of primary teachers, expressed her gratitude towards all the attendees. She hoped that the teachers have been diligent caretakers of these little ones in the past year. She added that it was her promise that the staff of ICSK Amman would continue to nurture these little ones as they grow here. She concluded the programme with a vote of thanks and particularly thanked the parents for sharing their most precious children with ICSK Amman.

Indeed, the pre-primary graduation ceremony of ICSK Amman was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm and gaiety.
