On a warm windy evening of Friday 17th April 2015 Team Fahaheel Brothers lifts ‘Soccer Mania 2015’ cup one day sevens tournament organized by Young Shooters Abbassiya under Kefak;One of the prominent keralite football club in Kuwait. It was a final worth waking up at dawn for, as the Fahaheel Brothers and Young Shooters Abbassiya both proved that they deserved to be there. Both teams show an attacking football throughout the match to both sides and the match ended with the score of 1-1 draw. After the final whistle the match headed in to the penalty shootout. Young Shooters abbassiya converted just 1 out of 3 penalties. Ashraf and Siddiq, impressed with 2 of 3 penalties to seal the rightly deserved win for Fahaheel Brothers. Referee presented the match ball to the winning team Fahaheel Brothers. Soccer Mania 2015 player of the tournament awarded to Sanal from Fahaheel Brothers. Soccer Mania 2015 Top scorer award presented to Anas from Young Shooters Abbassiya. Soccer Mania 2015 Best Defender awarded to Mubashir from CFC Salmiya.Sony who has been outstanding all matches of the Ciesco Kuwait bagged the best goal keeper of Soccer Mania 2015. During the Halftime, all the Families were delighted to receive gifts bags, generously donated by YSA FC Team co coordinator Shabu Kamburam from Hussain Qaisar International Food Stuff.
The tournament was officially inaugurated by Indian embassy official Sri. A K Srivastava (Secretary for information press and culture) with the presence of other dignitaries Sharafudheen Kanneth (Director, Norka Welfare Board), K N S Das (Country Head, Lulu Exchange Co.) Ahmed Fazal (Lulu Family Member), Abeed Kattirithody (Managing Director, I Black), Abdulla Cadiri (Kefak President), V S Najeeb (Kefak Secretary).During the function Mr.Ahmed Fazal handover the first souvenir copy to Abeed Kattirithodi.The guests wished all the best to all participants in their short speech.
In closing Abdul Latheef , president of YSA FC gave vote of thanks to the guest, sponsors, participated teams and the outstanding crowds for making grand success of this Soccer Mania 2015.The motto of Young Shooters Abbassiya is ‘Friendship Through Football’ and the aim of our club is to promote football all over Kuwait. Runners-up were handed out by Kefak president Abdulla Cadiri to Mahashook, Captain of YSA FC. The winners’ cup was handed out by YSA FC Patron Sharafudheen Kanneth to Musthafa, Captain of Fahaheel Brothers.
