Hyderabad Muslim Welfare Association (HMWA) hosted a grand and traditional annual Iftar get together, which was held on Tuesday , the 30th june-2015 in Salmiya Kuwait. Programme was well attended by more than 300 people including women. The program started at 5:45 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Quran by Master Mujtaba. Vice President HMWA initiated the program and staged the Master of ceremony. Distinct guests Mr. Aslam Imadi Baber Mirza, Iqbal sahab Hamed Ur Rahman and Mir Rashid Ali Ibrahim khan and prominent personalities from Hyderabad shared the dais and gave small speeches hailed the activities carried out by HMWA. FIMA General Secy Hidayat ullah and Basheer Parker were also present and graced the occasion
Mr Aslam Imadi, senior member of HMWA delivered a special address highlighting the importance of preserving and maintaining unity and solidarity among our Ummah and read one of the Islamic Poem written by himself
Famous guest Speaker Bader Qasmi Sahab as usual captured the attention of all the attendees. Said Ramadan is the month of Quran and the Quran is a guidance for all humankind and it shows the straight path to all whoever seeks its guidance· He applauded the continual efforts of HMWA for the betterment of Community in general and Hyderabadi in particular. He said that whoever lightens difficulties of a Muslim or relieves him from a trouble, Allah would lighten his difficulties on the Day of Judgment. Ramadan is the month of Dua, therefore one should make lots of Duas, it is a month of sympathy, and charity and forgiveness, therefore, get your sins forgiven by Allah during this month
Brother Nisar Ahmed was another speaker of the day emphasized on becoming practical he said we are living in an age where people have lots of knowledge but very few who put the knowledge in practice and gain blessings also said Read the Quran with understanding and with an intention to live by and Reflect Islam in your deeds not just in speeches.
All volunteers worked diligently to make program successful president Ifthekhar Ahmed and General Abdul Azeem including all EC members Aves Ansari Mushtaq ahmed Abbas Ali Tariq Iqbal Taufeeq Saeed Masih Uddin Gulrez Zubair and Abdul Jabbar were also present and volunteered the program with their hard work. Delicious iftar and dinner was served by senior executive member Haji Abdul kareem and team.
