Orthodox Vacation Bible School (O.V.B.S.) of St. Gregorios Indian Orthodox Maha Edavaka, was inaugurated on 2nd July, Thursday, in a public meeting at National Evangelical Church by Fr. Mathew Zachariah, Sruthi School of Liturgical Music Director and OVBS Trainer of Niranam Diocese by lighting the lamp.

Fr. Raju Thomas, Vicar of Maha Edavaka presided over the meeting and the guests were welcomed by Mr. John Abraham, OVBS Superintendent. The meeting was felicitated by Fr. Reji C. Varghese (Associate Vicar), Sabha Managing Committee Members Mr. Sabu T. George and Mr. Shaji Abraham, Mr. John P. Joseph (Parish Trustee), Mr. Jacob Thomas (Acting Parish Secretary), Mr. Kurien Varghese (Sunday School Head Master), Mr. Cizil Chacko (Sunday School Secretary), Mr. Philips John (Sunday School Treasurer) and Mr. P.C. George (Sunday School Advisor). OVBS Director declared this year’s theme ‘Seek the things that are above’ (Colossians 3:1). About 700 students and their parents were present for the inauguration function.
