Teacher- Planting Seeds That Grow Forever

“The best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see.”? Alexandra K.Trenfor

School is our second home and teachers are our second parents. Teaching is one of the professions that create all other professions. So your teacher is the reason for what you are now.

This teacher’s day I’m here to tell you all about our teachers and their importance.

HOW WOULD A WORLD WITHOUT TACHERS BE?????

One fine morning i get up and get ready to go to school. It’s 6:45 a.m. my mom is yelling from the kitchen while packing the lunch box that it’s time for the bus. i grab my lunch box and run down the stairs to reach the ground floor of my building and i stare at the road waiting for the bus. The bus arrives and i am surprised to see the seat next to the door where the teacher in charge sits is empty. I reach the school 15 minutes late as there was a heavy traffic jam due to some strike. I am worried about what the teacher is going to tell me as i am late, but when i pick up my courage and open the door of the classroom, i see a complete mad house in front of me.

My classmates are running around the class, a few of them are playing guitar and singing songs, a few more of them are dancing on top of the teacher’s desk and some of them texting in their phones which they sneaked into the school although it is a big offence of the school rules. OMG!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe my sight my friends were doing whatever they wanted and a few of the girls were loaded up with excessive makeup which was also not allowed in our school. I was shocked for a second and then got out of my classroom running around all the corridors of my school, looking into every class and realizing that it is more or less than equal to the state in which my classroom was. But there are 2 things common in every classroom which startled me :-

1.Every student was enjoying himself/herself and every student except me had their phones

2.None of the classrooms had teachers

Frustrated, I go up to friend Anoushka asking her what’s wrong with our school. She happily replies that the teachers are on a strike and we won’t have any classes the following year. At first I become happy but as days and months pass I realize that we were going to end up useless if this state continues as things grew worse day by day. Students even started ragging and abusing the students who were weaker than them and a few of the students who were abused attempted suicide and reached the verge of death. Then I notice a few people coming towards me in a group at first I didn’t give much attention but soon I realized they were going to abuse me.....and that’s when my alarm rings waking me up from the scariest dream I ever had. Oh! that was close. It is after this dream I realized the importance of teachers in our school life.

I realized that ‘THERE WAS NO FUTURE WITHOUT TEACHERS’.

WHY SHOULD WE LOVE OUR TEACHERS?????

I myself being a student asked this questions several times to my mother who is an ex-teacher , although I asked this questions several times , I got back only one answer every single time , it was that “, the teachers love us more that they love their own children.”

I thought over this statement by my mother many times and that’s when I realized 4 surprising things/facts about our teachers, they are :-

1.You may argue that a teacher hates a student who does not study well and favors a student who studies well just because she shouts at the student who’s weak in studies. But many of us have forgotten to realize that the teacher takes her complete effort to make the child weak in studies do better by being strict towards him/her. Moreover, a person can show anger only on a person who is close enough to him/her, so naturally it is proven that the teacher loves even the student who is weak in studies.

2.The second fact about teaching is that it is the most difficult profession on earth because in all professions you will have to deal with people who already know something whereas a teacher is the person who creates the people who know something and teach the people who don’t know anything.

3.No person in this world can achieve his/her goals without the help of teachers. But you may argue with the case of Thomas Alva Edison, where he was stated by his own teacher as a hopeless child but here, his mother Nancy Matthews Elliot played the role of a teacher and taught him everything that a teacher would teach her student.

4.A teacher considers all the students in her class as her own children. A child may not know everything about his/her teacher but a teacher knows everything about each an every student of his/her.

I would like to conclude this article by saying that ‘A teacher is like a candle which consumes itself to light the way for others’, so be grateful towards your teacher who helped you get over the darkness which everyone is afraid of.

My last request to the readers of this article is that this teachers day, tell this statement to one of the teachers whom you love:- “TEACHER, YOU HAVE TAUGHT, CHALLENGED AND INSPIRED ME. I CAN’T IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT YOU.”( THAT IS WHAT I AM GOING TO TELL TO MY ENGLISH TEACHER)

SO WHO IS THE TEACHER LUCKY ENOUGH TO HEAR THIS STATEMENT FROM YOU??????
