The Indian Community School Kuwait held Inter-Branch basketball tournament in the U-14 and U-12 categories for boys and girls. League matches were followed by exciting finals held at the ICSK Senior School 19th September, 2015. All the teams were encouraged with the presence of Honorary Secretary to the Board of Trustees Mr. Vijay Karayil, Hon. Board member and head of Sports Committee Mr. Binoy Thomas, Principal Mr. K G Shirsath and Physical education teachers.
In conclusion, prizes were given away by the dignitaries.
The budding stars of the Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior won in in both the under-12 Boys’ and Girls’ categories. Master Annoj Cherian of class V G and Ms. Disha Shenoy of V E were awarded the trophy for being the best player in their respective categories. ICSK Amman teams were the runners-up in these categories.
U-14 boys’ trophy was clinched by ICSK Amman team and ICSK Khaitan was the runners-up. Timothy Thomas George of class VIII A, Amman, was adjudged the best player in this category. The U-14 girls’ title was bagged by ICSK Senior and ICSK Amman were the runners-up. Arlene Periera of class VIII B, Senior, was the best player for this category.
