Engr. MadhusudanRay, Managing Director, TCB Cert. Worldwide LLC, while presenting the subject, compared the Global situation in Quality Management System with current status of it in India. The number of ISO certified companies range around 342800 in China where as in India it is awfully low, with certified company’sstands at 41016 as on 2014! Other major western and Far East countries range in between. It shows the hard work and dedication put forward by these country to achieve the quality goals. Around 1.14 million companies are so far certified to ISO 9001 all over the world, with at least a bare minimum of 2 quality auditors in each company show the potential of the job requirement in this sector. Mr. Ray also hinted the annualpotential of job opportunity for auditors may grow by 20 to 30% as new standard ISO 9001:2015 was launched in September 2015.Italy Stands at second place with 168960 certificates. To reach second place India needs to move 4 times faster!

Mr. Ray pointed out that on the other hand, 750,000 engineers get graduated in core engineering sector every year in India and wondered on the low quality turnouts in the Industrial & service sector.
