Alghanim Industries launched the Mi brand of mobile phones in Kuwait in an exclusive event held at Sky Lounge, Radisson Blu Hotel on Mya 2nd in presence of the Senior Director- Category Management at Alghanim Industries Mr. Rohit Gandotra, the GM of Mi Mena’s official distributor – Task FZCO Mr. Ravi Mathew and other invitees.
Mi is a Chinese brand established in 2010 as internet and smart technology company with various range of products including highest technology smartphones. Despite its short operating lifecycle, Mi phones have now become China’s number 1 mobile brand and are competing against major international mobile competitors. The reason behind its widespread success is that its mobile phones are produced with high quality materials similar to that of main industry competitors but with affordable pricing, in addition to the Mi User Interface (MIUI), providing Android users with a high quality experience. The success of Mi phones is not limited to its home country as it is now dominating the Asian market. It recently entered the MENA region as well, starting with UAE and KSA where it has also achieved remarkable success.
