Wednesday, May 4, 2016

A number of lawmaker proposed an amendment that gives the government the power to force a coeducation ban at all schools, colleges and other educational facilities in Kuwait – including private ones, reported Kuwait Times citing Al-Qabas Arabic newspaper.

The amendment, proposed by MPs Humoud Al-Hamdan, Dr Awdah Al- Ruwai’ie, Dr Mohammad Al-Huwailah, Ali Al-Khamees and Hamdan Al-Azmi, bans the ‘mixing’ of male and female students in classrooms, laboratories, libraries and anywhere else inside an educational facility.

Stupid decision. Very narrow minded people. Please learn to bring up your child with values and teach them to respect one another than segregate them.

What a really stupid decision. The country is bleeding money and these MPs will block legislation removing subsidies but will create such crazy proposals which will finish the remaining money much faster. Men and women should interact with each other and know how to behave with each other instead of segregating the whole country. If not we have to split Kuwait into two a female only kuwait and a male only kuwait. I cannot understand people who support such crazy ideas.
