Writers’ Forum with Indian Embassy conducting Multi-Lingual Kavi Sammelan & Mushaira

The Writers’ Forum, Kuwait, in association with the The Embassy of India, Kuwait, is pleased to announce its forthcoming mega event-- A Multi-lingual Kavi-Sammelan and Mushaira on the occasion of the Independence Day of India on August 15, 2016 at the Auditorium of the Embassy of India. H.E the Ambassador of India, Mr. Sunil Jain will be the Chief Guest. A unique event it promises to be, with recitations by poets from nearly ten different languages of India, on one platform. Translations in English shall be read out after each recital.

The Writers' Forum and such programs by it represent an unparalleled example of national integration and the celebration of the diversity of our nation. The Writers’ Forum, Kuwait is a non-political, non-religious, non-governmental, non-profit literary organization of and for the Indian community in Kuwait. It is purely a literary organization which provides an equal platform to Poets and Writers in all the languages of India without any prejudice of gender, caste, creed and religion. The Writers Forum, Kuwait is registered with the Embassy of India under registration no. INDEMB/KWT/ASSN/140.

All Indians are cordially invited for this program on the 15th of August, 2016. Entry is Free. However, prior intimation/confirmation will facilitate us in make necessary arrangements.
