The most prominent literary circle in Kuwait “Kuwait Bazm-e-Adab” held a poetry session on Thursday, August 11, 2016 evening at the residence of organizations Vice President Mr. Usman Siddiqui.
Renowned poet, businessman & Chairman of the organization Mr. Khalid Sajjad preside over the poetry session. Chief guest of the evening was advocate Mr. Rana Ejaz Suhail who is an outspoken orator and a writer. Mr. Zubair Sharif the President of Labour wing Muslim League (N) Kuwait was the guest of honor. He was greeted by the members of the organization for his birthday.
The session began with the brief speech of the President Ms. Shahjahan Jaffrey Hijab. She acknowledged the audiences about the activities of the organization and its future plans. She invited the famous poet and the General Secretary of the KBA, Mr. Masood Hassas to compere the poetry session.
It was a successful poetry session which was highly appreciated by the audience. Huge applause besides the loud “waah-waah’ and ‘Mashallah’ filled every heart with enthusiasm.

Khalid Sajjad, Shahjahan Jaffery Hijab, Aamir Qidwai, Masood Hassas, Sadaqat Hussain Tirmazi, Khizar Hayat, Tajwer Sultana, Ayyub Ali Ayyubi, Shahzada Sultan Kaif, Amiruddin Amir, Nadeem Muzaffarnagri and Ayyub Khan Jhapad.
The session ended with the brief speeches of the guests of honor and the President of the evening. Later the host Mr. Usman Siddiqui invited the guests for dinner.
The aim of organizing such kind of programmes is to provide a platform for young and budding poets of Kuwait so they can showcase their talent.
