9th Golden Foke Award to Sri.P.P. Kunhirama Peruvvanan

FOKE an Organization of Kanoor Citizens (Friends Of Kannur Kuwait Expats Association) announced its 9th Golden FOKE Award to Sri. P.P.Kunhiramaperuvvanan for his outstanding contributions to the art of Theyyam.

Sri. Kunhirama Peruvvanan residing in Pazhayangadi Sreestha, started performing Theyyam, at the age of 16 onwards. Mooppilottu Bhagavathi, Kadaghottu Maakkum, Kathivanoor Veeran, Vayanattu Kula Veeran are some of his plays.

A cash prize of 25,000/-Rupees, Memento and Certificate will be handed to him at a function in Yamuna Theeram Kanayi near Pilathara, Kannur on 3rd Sept 2016.

Award Committee Members, Sri. K. K. R. Vengara, Sri. Dinakaran Kombiloth and FOKE Members, FOKE president K. Shymesh, Soorya Narayanan and Vijayesh declared the award during a press meeting.
